WineWeb is a guest-facing service operated by Wineemotion USA ("Wineemotion USA," "we," "us") that lets guests at participating venues open a self-service wine tasting session, verify their identity and age, keep a payment method on file, and initiate pours from self-service dispensers located at that venue.
Wineemotion USA sells, installs, and services the dispensing equipment and the software described in these terms. We do not own, operate, or stock the equipment with alcohol, and we are not the alcohol retailer or permit holder at any venue. The venue where you are tasting is solely responsible for holding the appropriate license or permit and for complying with all alcohol laws applicable to its location, including any rules on unattended or self-service dispensing.
You must be of legal drinking age in the jurisdiction where you are using the service. Depending on the venue, your age and identity may be verified through an automated process using a third-party identity verification provider, or by venue staff who confirm your identification in person and issue you an access code. You represent that any information and documents you submit are your own and accurate.
A tasting session lets you initiate pours from dispensers at the venue where the session was opened, for a duration set by that venue. The venue also sets any limits on pour size, pour count, or session value. We do not guarantee that any specific dispenser or product will be available during your session.
You must keep a valid payment method on file to open a session. Depending on the venue, we may place a temporary authorization hold on your payment method at the start of a session. At the end of your session, you will be charged for the pours recorded during that session. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card number.
By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive a one-time verification code by text message to open a session. If you opt in, you may also receive a text message or email with a link to your visit summary at the end of a session, or when your session expires. We do not currently send marketing messages by text or email. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a message to opt out of that message type, or HELP for help.
Records of your sessions and pours, along with related usage data, are generated in the course of providing the service and are retained and owned by Wineemotion USA as business records. We may use this data in aggregate or de-identified form to provide venues with reporting and analytics about their offerings, and to support the operation of the service, including responding to comps or refund requests. Our privacy policy describes how we handle personal information in more detail.
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wineemotion USA disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any failure of identity or age verification. Nothing in this section limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
